Fire by Trick Concepts
Photo Contest Official Rules and Regulations

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void where prohibited. Open to residents of all countries (except where mail is restricted by the U.S.), AND who, as of January 10th, 2008, are 18 years of age or older. Contest begins on Thursday, January 10th, 2008 and ends at midnight, March 10, 2008. All eligible E-mail entries must be received before midnight PST on March 10, 2008. All mail-in entries must be postmarked by March 10, 2008.  

Theme: Photos will be judged based on fire performance which results in the photographic capturing of fire in a unique or unusual way.

Judging:  Contest winners will be selected by our Judging Panel, Controlled Burn: A Reno, Nevada based Fire Troupe, on or about March 15, 2008 from among all eligible entries received. All decisions of the Contest Judges are final.  Employees and Family Members of Trick Concepts and Controlled Burn are ineligible. 

Contest Description: Maximum number of photo entries per person is five (5). You must either be the main subject of the photo or the photographer of the photo submitted to enter. If the photo is not taken by you, the photographer must approve of the submission. If you are the photographer, the subject in the photo must approve of the submission.  Your entry into this contest is consent that these stipulations have been met.  Each contest participant consents to having his/her photo entry and name (or nickname) displayed on our website under Photo Gallery / Photo Contest.  Each winner consents to having their winning photo and name (or nickname) displayed on our website’s front page. The Sponsor (as hereafter defined as Trick Concepts) and Judges (as hereafter defined as Controlled Burn) are not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries, illegible entries, or entries containing incorrect information. Not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of computer systems or mail services. All mailed entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Winners will be notified by telephone or e-mail. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.                    

How to Enter: To enter (starting January 10th, 2008 at 12:00 AM PST) participants may e-mail photo entry plus information listed below to: scorch@trickconcepts.com.

To enter by mail, submit information requested below in a stamped envelope addressed to: PHOTO CONTEST c/o Fire by Trick Concepts, 22412 Normandie Ave. Unit E, Torrance, California, U.S.A., 90502-3300. All photos submitted by mail will not be returned, unless a pre-addressed stamped envelope is included.

Note:  All information provided is confidential and will not be distributed or sold in any way.

General Restrictions:  Must be 18 years of age to enter.  Only one prize per family, household, or address. No substitution, transfer of prize, or cash redemptions permitted except as provided herein. All federal/state/local taxes are the sole responsibility of prize winners. All federal/state/provincial/local laws and regulations apply. Sponsor and Judges are not liable for injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from the acceptance or use of any prizes.

Photo Restrictions:  No digital manipulation (photoshop, etc.) permitted except color and exposure correction.  No nudity allowed.  No winning photos from last years contest may be submitted for entry.  Photos will be Reduced to 1000 pixels in their largest dimension.  Please do not submit excessively large or excessively small photos.  Photos must be in .jpg format.


Prizes:

First Place:  One (1) first place winner will be awarded a $200.00 dollar Gift Certificate redeemable towards Fire by Trick Concepts Merchandise.

Second Place: One (1) second place winner will be awarded a $100.00 dollar Gift Certificate redeemable towards Fire by Trick Concepts Merchandise.

Third Place:  One (1) third place winner will be awarded a $50.00 dollar Gift Certificate redeemable towards Fire by Trick Concepts Merchandise.
Note:  All prizes must be accepted as awarded, and are not convertible to cash. 

By entering this contest, the participant consents to entry of his / her submission and agrees to these Official Rules and Regulations and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all matters to this contest.
